Lime Tree Avenue Park, Crewe, Cheshire

Landscape masterplan for Lime Tree Avenue Park, Crewe on behalf of ANSA Environmental Services and Cheshire East Borough Council. Proposals were designed to improve the community offer and environmental performance of the park.

Proposed interventions included;

​

• improved entrances & pathways

• creation of a joined up circular route around the park

• addition of new seating opportunities

• new avenue tree planting

• new specimen parkland tree planting

• refurbished play space

• a community garden space

• creation of wildflower meadows

• flexible open space for organised community events

The project featured a strong element of public consultation, with an initial round of consultation shaping the design brief, and a further round of discussion held on the proposed designs.​

​

The final designs were well received by the local community with 70% of respondents consulted in support of the proposals.
